What Darwin Got Wrong by Fodor and Massimo Piattelli-Palmarini is destined to be a classic. Written for philosophers, it is not easy going. But it is very worthwhile. See it here:

The Deniable Darwin [and other essays] by David Berlinski [http://www.amazon.com/Deniable-Darwin-Other-Essays/dp/0979014123/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1268656173&sr=1-1] is also very very worthwhile. Although a first class intellect, he also write with superb style and humor. See especially his replies to critics. [One wonders if those critics are all suicidal?]
